I has been a long & intense week on a personal & professional front, I find myself sitting here in front of the internet observing that after the shock of the internet predators exposure the nation seems to have moved on to other issues that they find less traumatic. Hell our lives are ruled by the media aren't they ? I doubt that many readers are old enough to have read Robert Heinlein especially "Stranger in a Strange Land"

Nothing much to say after a week like this, flipped the coin between Beth Hart, Dianna Krall & Annie Lennox

Some healing Beth Hart won out ! with a follow up of more Beth Her music is something that I often turn to, I'm not sure how many know that she has been a regular visitor to NZ as she battles her personal demons.

Back to the real issue that burns me right now. The news clip was shown, there was shock & horror then people move on to the next clip. Yes, I know that there are good things in the background as the hunters get more power to find the sick people that prey on the weak & vulnerable but they can't cure the real problem.  Only we can good people by changing our attitudes & values yet the next news clip is the priority for most not the ugly issues that make us accept that demons live amongst us let alone that we all have a part to play in dealing with the generations deep issues.  The feeling of powerlessness is sometimes overwhelming.

Time to head to the couch with the headphones on & two tracks from Diana  Krall that are to be played at by funeral (and I'm only half way through my journey) Narrow Daylight & Departure Bay I turn to her music as well when I need to calm the impact of society's weaknesses & evils.

People, the shallowness and habit of shrinking from the real challenges are what allow the evils and demons of life to exist let alone breed not their personal sickness. By switching to the next newsworthy or more palatable subject creates the environment they need to continue their evil. Just like domestic violence, rape & all those other inhuman evils that we all allow to exist by not speaking out or intervening. Paedophiles know that their evil is such that many will not call it out especially if they are family. So, it is up to you & I to remove this evil not the law, government or anyone else.

Think about it, I'm heading back to the couch, some darkness & self healing.
